Recall

Share thoughtfully.

Effective 21 October 2026. These terms apply when you publish a Recall sharing link.

Only share what you may share.

You must have permission to share the selected text, photos, files and recommendations. Do not publish someone else’s private information without their permission. Do not share illegal content, sexual exploitation, hateful or threatening material, harassment, scams, spam or other objectionable content.

A link is access.

Anyone with your link can view its snapshot and may forward it. Recipients can save independent copies and edit those copies privately. Editing your original recall does not update the snapshot. Revoking a link stops future access through Recall; it cannot remove copies already saved or previews cached by other apps.

What leaves your account.

You choose the text, photos, files, source links and place labels. Recall does not include your private conversation, people tags, face data, reminders or exact photo coordinates in the shared snapshot. Before publication, selected text, photos and readable document text are sent to OpenAI for a safety check only after you explicitly allow that check. Consent is requested for each publication. Turn it off or cancel before publishing to withdraw; a completed check cannot be undone.

Safety and reports.

Use “Report this share” on a preview to send a report to the Recall team. Signed-in recipients can block a sender. Recall may remove links and suspend sharing access for abuse or violations. No one is permitted to evade safety checks or sender blocks.

Contact.

Report urgent safety or privacy concerns to support@recall.app, including the shared link and a description of the issue. Do not send passwords or other account secrets.
